About Ecosystem Conservation

The Challenge

The UN puts the funding gap to restore global ecosystems at over $200 billion dollars a year. With limited financial resources from public agencies, additional conservation-based private funding is needed to help fill this gap. “Investments in nature-based solutions will need to at least triple by 2030 if the world is to meet its climate change, biodiversity and land degradation targets.”  (UNEP) Private-sector conservation investments have the potential to completely fill this annual shortfall.

About Us

Ecosystem Conservation is a mission-first conservation finance organization focused on restoring degraded ecosystems. We help raise awareness and capital to support organizations and projects that restore all types of degraded ecosystems. To achieve our mission, we take conservation investments and provide capital to help fund restoration projects that will create positive environmental, social, and economic benefits over the long-term.

Currently, we are focused on projects in the United States; however, our objective is to expand our reach to support projects around the world. As an early stage organization, we are working to raise the necessary capital to build our platform and move our mission forward. Our goal is to start deploying capital for approved restoration projects beginning in 2026.
